Dockstar Cottage Services was founded in 2015 by life long Lake Muskoka cottager, Rob Twible. Born and raised in Etobicoke, he left behind a career in finance in 2008 and moved north permanently for a change of lifestyle.
After 8 years working in the construction industry, Rob’s obsession for quality work and finer details fuelled him to set out on his own. As a huge fan of old world craftsmanship and modern materials, his style combines the two consistently. As a cottager himself, Rob knows it can be challenging choosing the right help for your projects. We have built our business on referrals and reputation. We are committed to honest and fair evaluations and will work directly with you as our client focused approach is to tackle one project at a time.
LakeHaus Group does not have a show-room (you’re in it now). There are no “project managers” or middle managers associated with our builds. As the General Contractor, Rob handles it all. When another trade is brought in, we have a list of experts that align with our principles of trust & quality. Our priority has been re-investing into our business with the absolute best tools available. We operate our own custom-built barge and excavator for island work and non-invasive mainland shorelines thereby reducing disruption of your environment.
